How to make a professional footballer better

Go Up Players, Joan and Ferrán Vilà's company, provides tactical help to elite players.

Joan Vilá is one of Xavi Hernández's football fathers. Their friendship is public and when Joan speaks, the Barça coach listens. But beyond his method and the software that Xavi will implement from now on at the Camp Nou, Vilà has a curious business based on the tactical improvement of the football player. In his chat with Antón Meana and Pablo Pinto on SER Podcast's'Carrusel Confidential', he explains that his experience put at the service of the footballer allows him to improve his performance. Marc Bartra, Gerard Deulofeu and Sergi Gómez are some of his best known clients, without forgetting that Puyol, Busquets and Xavi himself, the backbone of the best Barca in history, passed through his hands. His son Ferrán Vilà also takes part in the interview, emphasising the challenge of making each client better.
